Films around the clock at one of Britain’s busiest A&E departments at King’s College Hospital in south London, which this year celebrates it’s centenary.

24 Hours in A&E is an RTS award-winning series that goes behind the hospital curtains and doors to bring you the drama that is just another day for the doctors and nurses at King’s College Hospital.

With episodes that showcases how our lives can change forever in the blink of an eye, to episodes that will move you to tears, 24 Hours in A&E may be the best “behind-the-scenes” view of an incredible facility that often is taken for granted until we need it for ourselves.

I share this quote from the series’ second episode.

As doctors and nurses, we have to accept we can’t change everything and there’s not always a miracle cure, once you accept it is happening you have to get it right. You can’t get dying wrong” – Sister Claire.
