The Bible brings fresh life to the world's best known book. Instead of presenting the Bible's epic tales through the lens of faith or religion, this event series immerses the viewer in the stories in a whole new way.

History Channel tell them in the first person, from the point of view of the heroes and villains whose decisions shaped both Old and New Testaments. From Abraham to Moses, from Noah to David, through Jesus and the Apostles, we capture the struggles of real people dealing with real issues in a way a modern audience can relate to.

Historic evidence will intertwine with dramatic re-enactments and jawdropping CGI, enhancing their impact with exciting new information. Imagine knowing exactly how the Lost Tribes could have survived... the technology behind the sling that felled Goliath... the actual composition of the Nazareth village where Jesus grew up...even the Roman torture techniques used to quell heretical sects. It's not just the greatest story ever told...

The Bible premieres on Wednesday (8 October) at 10:00pm (SIN/HK) on History.
